The World Meeting of Families

Pope Francis personally chose Dublin, to be host diocese for the World Meeting of Families from 22-26 August 2018.  Planning for this great national and international celebration of faith is well underway. A dedicated office and support team will begin with an emphasis on Pope Francis’ reaching and reflections.  The World Meeting of Families promises to be an occasion that will reflect on the faith experience of families from many parts of the world as well as on the challenges and celebrations which characterises the ups and downs of day to day family life.

To help defray to costs, national collections will be held in all churches in Ireland on the weekend 1^st and 2^nd April next.

In Caragh we will ask for an increase in the offertory collection as Masses next weekend. Whatever is contributed over and above the normal collection will be donated to the event.  Your support is greatly appreciated.
